The rooms at Castelo De Arez were cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and free toiletries. I loved that there was free WiFi, allowing me to stay connected. Some units even had a seating area, making it feel even more like home. The bed linen was fresh and the towels provided were nice and fluffy.
I personally found the shower a bit small, but it's just my preference.

The outdoor spaces were also wonderful, with 360° views and lots of nature to explore. The hotel is located in a quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The location was convenient for driving to the nearby beaches, offering beautiful landscapes along the way, such as storks, cork trees, and rice fields. During our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful countryside landscape, with storks, cork trees, and rice fields. Although it was a 25-minute drive to the beaches, the scenic route made it worthwhile. We were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our rooms, as well as the excellent service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. The breakfasts were exceptional, with an array of local ingredients and homemade treats. The wide open space and well-equipped kitchen were added bonuses for relaxation and convenience.
One minor drawback was the lack of common areas and outdoors spaces for a quiet day. However, considering the hotel's large exterior area and plans for improvement, we are confident that this will be resolved in the near future.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel near Alcacer do Sal called Castelo de Arez. My purpose was to explore the surrounding areas, and the location was perfect for visiting Comporta, Troia, Sesimbra, and even Évora. The view of the lands and rice fields from the hotel was breathtaking. Rita, the manager, warmly welcomed us and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast prepared by Isabel and her staff was delicious and beautifully presented. The available kitchen and spacious shared spaces were great for relaxing. The friendly staff always went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Strongly recommend this hotel.
